The Distance Education Bureau is a bureau of the University Grants Commission based in New Delhi, India, in charge of regulating distance education in India.
It was established in 2012, replacing the Distance Education Council, an organization that was responsible for open learning and distance education since 1985.
The main role of the Distance Education Bureau is to make sure that each university complies with the rules and standards so as to maintain a quality standard of education in all of these programs.
Are DEB and DEC the same?
