About
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is the state organization authorized to conduct civil service examinations for appointments to various Group C and Group D posts. Uttar Pradesh Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) is released by the UPPSC from time to time to select candidates for Sahayak Abhiyojan Adhikari in the UP Govt. The UP APO Exam is organized in two stages- UPPSC APO Preliminary Exam and UPPSC APO Main Exam.

Educational Qualification
The educational qualification for the UP APO exam is a graduate degree in LAW from any recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates who had served in the territorial army for two years and N.C.C cadet with a B certificate.

Selection Process
The UP APO Selection process involves three stages. The prelims are for all the applicants. The mains will be conducted for the candidates who clear the minimum qualifying marks in the prelims exam. The interview is to check the personality and the decision-making abilities of the candidate.

Salary Details
The salary of the UP APO comes under Grade Pay INR 4800/- under 6th pay commission. As per the 7th commission, the UP APO Salary matrix is INR 47,600 - 1,51,100.
