There are different types of supernumerary seats available in various Institute / Faculties / Colleges. Candidates, who want to take admission on a supernumerary seat under the supernumerary quota, should have all the eligibility conditions as are prescribed for general category candidates for the concerned course.
1. For BHU Employee Wards:
In all the courses (including special courses), 15% supernumerary seats shall be available for the sons/daughters (including married daughters) of permanent employees (including those on probation) of BHU. All the candidate should fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements and claims that he/she belongs to employee ward category in the Application Form and qualifies in the UET.
2. Paid Seats:
There are some ‘PAID SEATS’ in certain courses (not in all courses). These paid seats should not be exceeding 15% of the total number of seats. However, no such provision is available for Special Courses.
3. ICAR Seats:
For admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, there will be 15% of the total number of seats reserved for candidates nominated by the ICAR on the basis of Combined Admission Test conducted by the ICAR.
