The Bihar Public Service Commission initially began its functioning for the State of Bihar with its headquarters at Ranchi. The State Government decided to shift the headquarters of the Commission from Ranchi to Patna and it was finally shifted to Patna on 1st March 1951. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is one of the most reputed State Level Civil Services Exam conducted for recruitment to multiple posts.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have a full-time degree in the respective engineering discipline i.e. civil, mechanical, and mechanical engineering from a recognized university or institution (AICTE approved).
Age Limit
The age limit for BPSC Assistant Engineer is between 21 years to 37 years.
Age relaxation is applicable as per the category of the candidates as per the General Administrative Department, Govt. of Bihar.
