Is IGNOU Degree valid everywhere?

I am thinking of doing a course from IGNOU so I want to know whether its degree is valid or not?

According to me-
Taking an IGNOU graduate course does not guarantee a job or a steady income. However, it puts pupils on level with conventional grads.

Since IGNOU is a Govt. University and also recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Technical Council For Education (AICTE)&Distance Education Board(DEB) degrees from IGNOU can be used to give any Govt exam or pursue higher education in India and abroad too.
