  • West Bengal to start open-air classes

The education department of West Bengal is going to launch a new project called ‘Paray Sikshalay,’ which translates to ‘local school.’

According to an official on Sunday, pupils at state-run schools at the primary and pre-primary levels would get instruction in open areas under this new program.

Para-teachers and primary school instructors will be recruited by the ‘Paray Sikshalay’ to provide elementary education to pupils in grades 1 to 5.

Students will be encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as elocution and painting in addition to getting an elementary education.
