Distance degree has same and equal value as a regular degree only if the degree is offered by a UGC recognized university. In government job sector and also some private companies it has the same value, but some private companies didn’t approve a distance education degree equivalent for its job qualification whether or whether not you have done the education from a UGC recognized university, it doesn’t matter to those companies. Their thinking is as the candidate has done distance education he/she have not the appropriate skills.
