  • Karnataka govt suspends mandatory Kannada for UG students

Karnataka Gov. has issued a notice that students who do not want to take Kanada in the Under Graduate course should not be compelled to do so.

As per the new order, those students who do not want to take up the local language shall not be forced.

The students who have already taken up the course also get the opportunity to choose the language of their choice for studying instead of Kannada. The attendance will be adjusted to the new language.

Earlier it was mandatory to take Kannada in UG course if one has not learned Kannada in his school.
