Haryana Staff Selection Commission is an organization that comes under the Government of Haryana to recruit staff for various posts in the various Departments of the Government of Haryana and in the subordinate offices. The Commission conducts examinations for appointments to Group ‘B’ and ‘D’ services and conducts examinations for appointments for Group ‘B’ and ‘D’ services as required by the State Government. Essential Qualifications
The Essential Qualifications for the Post of Canal Patwari are

Syllabus
The 90 marks of written examination are divided into two parts comprising:-
a) 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi, and concerned or relevant subjects, as applicable.
b) 25% weightage for History, Civics, Geography, Current Affairs, Literature, Environment, Culture, etc. of Haryana.
