Yes, BA in Political Science/History/Geography Hons is very beneficial if your aim is to crack SSC CGL/Railway/UPSC, because in BA in Political Science/History/Geography the course is related to History, Geography, and Polity, which is also in course of SSC CGL/Railway/UPSC. Although there are many other topics like GK, Current Affairs which you can read my books or newspaper.
As everyone knows exams like SSC and UPSC are how much competitive, and if you want to make merit you will have to prepare for every subject equally. So here GK becomes the subject that increases your marks in the exam in very less time. AS if you know, you know the answer you do have to waste time there.
