Sad news everyone under new rule if you have passed ur 10 th exam and only under 3 years of date of passing u can apply for corection not later on

Sagarika_panda6 As per CISCE rules, correction in your mother’s name can only be done within 3 years from the date of your exam result. Since your 10th and 12th exams were in 2014 and 2016, the time limit is already over. So now, the correction cannot be done through the normal process. But if you have documents showing the correct name and your school also supports it, you can go to court. If the court gives an order, the board may accept the correction. This is the only way, but it takes time and legal steps.
Also, please confirm — are you asking about the CISCE (ICSE/ISC) board or some other board?

      Is the certyfying statement of examination result accepted by upsc ?

        Kartik_jha Yes, UPSC accepts a provisional/ certifying statement of result issued by the university, as per the CSE 2025 notification, if it confirms you have passed and is accompanied by all academic year mark sheets.

              Can someone clarify that certyfying statement of examination result this document issued by cisce is a certificate or just a document and is it acceptable in gov jobs .. I masked to produce matriculation certificate isit this ?

              Kartik_jha A “Certifying Statement of Examination Result” is generally not accepted for government job document verification.
              Recruitment bodies usually require the original or a duplicate Matriculation Certificate issued by your board, as it’s the official proof of age and qualification.

              If your original is lost, you should apply to your board for a duplicate certificate and submit that for verification.

                    Kartik_jha yes, it is acceptable easily. The corrected certificate will always say ‘certifying statement of examination results.’ I too needed to make the correction to join Government service.

                            I talked to helpdesk of icse they told this is issued as a replacement of pass certificate and can be considered as ur matriculation certificate
