According to the board’s spokesperson Rama Sharma, a circular claiming that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results on January 25 is false.
According to the fake circular dated January 22, the CBSE has modified the mechanism for receiving board test results, and participants will be issued a unique username and password by their centres, which they must use to login to the “new” online portal to check their scores.
CBSE has denied making any such change to the process of obtaining results.
