The Atomic Minerals Directorate is responsible for Exploration and Research is to identify and evaluate uranium resources required for the successful implementation of the Atomic Energy program in the country. It has worked for the implementation of important tasks, Research work, and Exploration of minerals. The vacancies for different vacant positions in AMD are explained in detail.

Designation - Upper Division Clerk

Education Qualifications

A candidate with a Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks.

Desirable:-

A minimum typing speed of 30 wpm in English.

A candidate with a Knowledge of Computer Applications, Data Entry & Data Processing.

Application Fees

  • The application fees for Upper Division Clerk will be Rs. 100/- and payment can be made online only.

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Woman category, and having a physical disability are exempted from paying fees.

Salary

  • The salary will be Rs. 25,500/- in the Level 4 of Pay Matrix

  • The employee will also get DA & other allowances as admissible for Central Government Employees.

Selection Procedure

The selection process consists of following

  1. Level-1 (Objective)
  2. Level - 2(Descriptive)

Level -1(Objective) will be only for qualifying and the minimum qualifying standard for Unreserved Candidates /EWS will be 50% aggregate and 40% aggregate for OBC/SC/ST/PH candidates.

The candidate will get 3 marks for each correct answer while 1 mark will get deducted for the wrong answer and the duration of the examination will be of 2 hours.
The candidates clearing the Level-1 exam will get the chance to take part in the Level-2 Examination

Descriptive Written Test
This consists of two sections those are

Part AEnglish Language comprising Comprehension, Precis and English Grammar (50%) has to be written purely in English;
Part BDescriptive test comprising Essay, Noting, and Drafting (50%) has to be written purely either in English or in Hindi. If it is written in a combination of both English and Hindi, zero marks will be awarded

This is of 100 Marks and there is no negative marking and the duration will be 2 hours.
Selection will be based on the Descriptive Test.
