The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM) Indore will now offer an Executive Fellow Programme in Management and Governance (EFPMG) for serving armed forces personnel. This new program will be a part of an MoU with Army Training Command (ARTRAC) and the Army War College (AWC) to conduct training and professional discourse for serving armed forces personnel.
As part of the MoU signed on Wednesday, IIM-I will train serving and eligible army officers every year while AWC will undertake research work in leadership and allied subjects in which every year three research scholars or students from IIM-I will be a part.
The nomination and selection of the participants for the EFPMG program would be formulated between IIM Indore and AWC as per the requirement. AWC/ARTRAC will select serving and eligible army officers every year who holds a postgraduate degree in a management discipline and will forward their names duly approved to IM Indore for the admission process.
The program can be proved a good initiative started towards the soldiers of our nation as many of the armed forces personnel will be benefit from this. What’s your view on this program?
