The Education Department of Puducherry will issue a guideline and a standard dress code for students in the union territory soon. Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Dr. Tamilisai Sounderarajan stated on Thursday that the education department will disseminate the dress code soon.
P.R. Rudra Goud, the Director of School Education in Puducherry, stated that a uniform dress code would be introduced, with just a few exceptions. He stated that the recommendations would be applied after the government gave its approval.
