In terms of comfort and convenience as far as the technology is concerned, we have the most advanced technology. Isn’t it?? Because, as I see, the learning environment is more dynamic than ever before, they need to be updated with technology.
As I see many higher education institutions are substituting instructional technologies for traditional resources in an attempt to stay up with their digital learning population as remote learning is becoming more popular.
Here are my points as to why students need technology in the classroom and how it can affect involvement.
a) It links the students to the real world:
In modern time it’s possible that a geology professor can take their students on a virtual tour of any geographical place to help them connect with the actual world. Technology allows instructors to break down physical barriers in the classroom.
b) Prepares students for employment:
Institutions are ensuring that their students are equipped for the modern workplace by incorporating these technologies into the normal curriculum.
c) Encourages collaboration:
Many educational technologies are providing a variety of collaboration-friendly features. Students can quickly share and edit projects with one another using different platforms.
e) Easy access to Information:
Students are being to obtain information more quickly and correctly because to technological advancements. Traditional textbooks are being replaced by search engines and e-books.
g) It gives a fun-factor to learn better:
Technology will make learning more enjoyable and fascinating in the classroom. Instructors can provide lessons via interactive games using teaching methodologies such as game-based learning (GBL).
