If I have been preparing for SSC for the last 2 years and I have almost covered all the syllabus of GS for SSC, can it be beneficial for UPSC prelims as I am going to take an exam of UPSC next year?

The syllabus of UPSC is much wider than the syllabus of SSC. In UPSC you need to have deep knowledge of each topic but in SSC that much deep knowledge is not required as GS is only one part of Tier 1 but in UPSC complete syllabus is based on GS.

UPSC and SSC are two different exams in India, in UPSC there is a total of 8–10 papers with some common and specialized subjects and it requires deep knowledge of subjects as well on the other hand SSC has a common syllabus including maths reasoning English, and gk in objective nature, which doesn’t require a deep knowledge as per UPSC.
