As we know that in India students do not prefer higher studies due to poor financial condition . I have also faced many hurdles to get it.
First of all every PhD is not eligible for the fellowship and Second is some universities give fellowship only through the fourth year. Completing a PhD in only four years is a challenge in many disciplines.
I am the student of Arts and fields in the liberal arts and humanities generally receive the least amount of financial aid. In these areas, time to degree is sometimes over ten years which I have faced and taken a long time to complete my study.
So it is not easy to get any fellowship for PhD .
