Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati is launching a Master’s program in Liberal Arts. It will be offered by IIT Guwahati Department of Humanities and Social Sciences from the 2022-2023 academic year.
The first group of 30 students will be admitted in the upcoming semester in July 2022 based on specific admission criteria to be announced shortly. The program aims to offer students an interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary learning experience and hone their ability to think critically and creatively about social, political and aesthetic issues.
By engaging in meaningful interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary conversations, students will learn to make sound judgments and choices while keeping their ethical implications in mind, IIT claims.
