As a general rule, for any competitive exam, the stiffness as well as competitiveness decrease as one moves up the hierarchy, i.e. the undergraduate exam is the most difficult and the postgraduate exam is the easiest of all.
The reason for this theory is that no. candidates are dispersed to another area as they progress in life. Just in case, after completing the UG, many candidates get jobs, they will not prepare for the PG entrance exams.
