The main requirement for admission to the B.Tech Lateral Entry course is that students have a diploma in the same field in which they wish to take the B.Tech Lateral Entry course.
In addition, the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech Lateral is that students only need a three-year diploma from the same branch to enroll in B.Tech Lateral Entry courses.
After the 10th class, you can apply for a diploma, i.e. for polytechnic courses. In addition, candidates must pass an entrance exam to be eligible for the course.
