Science: As I see, this is the most popular stream for 10+2 students, and it offers a variety of profitable job opportunities, including medicine and engineering. It is also popular since it keeps your options open, i.e., after following science in 10+2, a student can choose commerce or arts, whereas commerce and arts students cannot pursue science.
You must take at least six subjects in the science track, including one mandatory language. There are numerous alternatives for topics such as mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, computer science, information technology, and electronics, among others. The student should choose subjects that will lead them to their desired profession.
Commerce: Economics, accountancy, and business law or business study are the three core disciplines taught in the commerce stream. Business economics, business law, accountancy, auditing, income tax, marketing, and other subjects are taught in most commerce colleges. The commercial stream, like the other two, requires students to choose six disciplines, one of which must be a language.
