Is there any major difference? Please explain.

NCERT stands for National Council of Educational Research and Training and SCERT stands for
State Council of Educational Research and Training.

Each chapter of the NCERT book offers a brief review and revision of the material. Several activities have been completed and are given to the students. The SCERT Book does not include chapters in detail; instead, the content is presented as a series of lessons. The substance and complexity of the lessons continue to increase.

NCERT

The CBSE recommends NCERT textbooks for students in grades I through XII.
Its principal goal was to create and maintain a common educational system that is both national in scope and allows and fosters the country’s unique culture.

SCERT

It establishes school and teacher training institute curriculum and texts. It also organizes and oversees the operations of teacher education colleges, secondary education colleges, and primary education colleges.
Its principal goal is to raise the state’s educational standards.
