Yes, if you are in class 12 and want to study at Delhi University, you must take the CUCET( Central universities common entrance Test) exam. The University of Delhi’s Executive Council approved the admission process for the academic year 2022-23 through the Central Universities Common Entrance Test, or CUCET, on Friday (December 17).
This exam is now become necessary for taking admission to Delhi University
Until date, the University of Delhi has had its own entrance exams and admissions process based on merit. However, beginning in 2022–2023, DU will use CUCET to administer an entrance exam for undergraduate admissions.
Every year, it is held for admission to several integrated, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes at a number of India’s central and state universities.
This year, 12 central institutions (excluding DU, BHU, and JNU) have been added to the CUCET list of participating universities.
As a result, getting strong grades in your 12th grade will no longer guarantee you a spot at Delhi University.
