Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited is Public Sector Enterprise that invites online applications for all the eligible candidates who fulfill the Qualifications Criteria. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the website www.oscsc.in for the Recruitment of Junior Assistant. Applications are invited online through the Application Form that is available on the website (www.oscsc.in) for posts Group-C in the office of the Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation on a contractual basis. During the period of contractual appointment, they shall draw consolidated monthly remuneration falling under the pay band as mentioned and their annual increase of remuneration shall be subject to their satisfactory performance as prescribed under completion of each year of service.
These posts shall continue on a contractual basis for a period of six years. If they complete their six years of contractual service satisfactorily, they shall be regularly appointed.

Education Qualification
A candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university with a working knowledge of computers (With a minimum PGDCA certificate/ equivalent).
Age Requirement
A candidate should not be less than 21 years and not be above the age of 32 years as of the date of notification.

Documents to be Uploaded
Candidates qualifying for the written examination are called for the documents verification and are required to bring the original certificates, mark sheets, etc. along with the self-attested copies for verification that are notified. Candidates who are not able to bring these certificates at the time of document verification their candidature are liable to be cancelled.
Candidates are required to bring the following documents
(i) Two recent passport size photographs (unsigned & unattested) that have been uploaded with the online application form.
(ii) HSC or equivalent certificate in support of declaration of age issued by the concerned Board/ Councils;
(iii) Intermediate/+2/ Higher Secondary examination Certificate issued by the concerned Board/ Council.
(iv) Degree Certificates issued by the recognized University. Caste certificate by birth in support of claim as SC/ST/ SEBC wherever applicable.
(v) Resident certificate issued by Competent Authority.
(vi) Required Odia test pass certificate from the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha indicating Odia as a language subject equivalent to ME School Standard or a certificate from the Principal/ Headmaster of the School indicating that the candidate has passed Odia in ME Standard, if not passed Odia as a subject in the High School Certificate/ equivalent examination.
(vii) Discharge certificates issued by the Commanding officer of the unit last served wherever applicable.
(viii) Disability certificate indicating percent of disability) issued by the concerned medical board wherever applicable.
(ix) Caste certificate by birth in support of claim as SC/ST/SEBC wherever applicable.

Provision for Departmental Candidates
Departmental candidates belonging to OSCSC Ltd. can apply online. The age relaxation is given for 10 years of continuous service and is exempt from paying the registration fee. OSCSC Ltd experience certificate must be uploaded when the online application is completed. The Employees who are interested in the above can apply if the following conditions are met.
(i) 10 years of experience in these organizations.
(ii) Not involved in any misuse of corporate funds.
(iii) Required qualifications that are advertised. In other words, the age of the applicant on duty must not exceed 42 years old for unreserved categories, 47 years old for SC / ST/female / SEBC categories, and 52 years old for disabled categories.
Provision for Outsourced Candidates
The persons provided by the manpower service providers/ outsourcing companies, who shall be less than 45 years of age and shall have completed at least 1 (One) year of continuous service at OSCSC Ltd., in case they apply, shall be allowed relaxation of upper age limit for entry, provided they satisfy all other eligibility criteria for the post as per in the recruitment rules.
They must upload the original documents/certificate online from their employers for availing themselves of the age relaxation in the format at the time of filling the online application. They shall be allowed 1% (one) percent extra mark on the total marks of the examination of each completed year of continuous service subject to a maximum of fifteen percent, which shall be added to the marks secured by them for deciding the merit position.

The candidates who are in service of OSCSC Ltd are exempted from payment of the application fees.
Mode of Payment
The payment should be made online through Debit/Credit/Net Banking/Paytm the applicant is directed to the payment gateway page that shall be deposited in Corporation Bank Account.
After completion of the online payment take the hard copy of the application form with the fee receipt which will be required at the time of verification of original documents as and when necessary.
Plan of Examination
(i) The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made through Computer Based Test (CBT) to be conducted by Recruitment Agency on behalf of OSCSC Ltd.
(ii) The examination will be in a single sitting with multiple choice objective-type questions for 200 marks. Each question carries 1 (one) mark and there is no negative mark for any wrong answer.
(iii) Downloading of Admit card and date of examination shall be intimated in due course of time.
Centre of Examination
(i). The Centre of Examination will be Bhubaneshwar for the computer Based Test (CBT) depending upon the number of the applicants, if needed the same may be held at other four other locations like Cuttack, Berhampur, Rourkela & Sambalpur.
(ii). The candidates are to mention their choice of examination zone at the appropriate place in the online application form.
OTHER ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
The candidates are required to meet the following eligibility conditions
(i). The candidate must be a citizen of India.
(ii). The candidate must be able to speak, read and write Odia fluently and must have passed at least an examination in Odia language equivalent conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
(iii). The candidate must have good character and must have sound health and good habits and shall be required to produce a certificate of fitness from the Chief District Medical Officer or a Medical officer or equivalent rank at the time of joining.
(iv). A candidate, who has more than one spouse living, will not be eligible for appointment unless the State Govt. has exempted his/her case from operation of this limitation for any good and sufficient reasons. Only those candidates who fulfill the requisite qualification and are within the prescribed age limit etc. by the last date of online application will be considered eligible.
Pay Scale
Contractual Period
A person appointed on contractual posts shall continue on the contractual basis for 6 years from the date of contractual appointment.

Subject to satisfactory performance, the consolidated remuneration shall be enhanced by ten percent on completion of each year of service till the completion of six years.
They shall not be entitled to DA, HRA, and other allowances during the period of contractual appointment. They shall be entitled to leave under the provisions with regular employees of Govt. of Odisha.
Regular Appointment
On the date of satisfactory completion of six years of contractual service, they shall be deemed to have been regularly appointed. A formal order of the regular appointment shall be issued by the appointing authority. On regular appointments, they shall be entitled to draw the time scale of pay as per the table below with the usual DA. HRA and other allowances as admissible to regular employees of OSCSC Ltd.

Selection Procedure
The provisional merit list shall be prepared category-wise in order of merit on the basis of marks secured by the Candidates in CBT and the results shall be published on the Official website of the Corporation i.e. www.oscsc.in.
