hr582 see, the Council makes corrections as per the birth certificate submitted to the school at the time of your initial admission there. Your marksheet can only reflect how your father’s name is on your birth certificate. I don’t think a corrected birth certificate can be accepted. And I don’t know if birth certificates can even be corrected at all.

AmlanNaskar my birth certificate has been corrected actually my orignal one was in hindi and now as I went to get it corected and in english format the authorities told me that a new copy will be given and the date of registration is same as orignal back in 2007 date of registration… Only the issue date will be different and inscribed that it is updated and mother and father’s adhar number is also added as a sign of authenticity…. The mistakes has been corected by the authorities…. Will that be not really accepted???? And orignal one is no more with me ??? So pls tell me really will it not be accepted

AmlanNaskar mine is same issue my birth certificate was lost so I got itre issues by the authorities only the issue date is of 2025 and shows as updates on 2025 rest even the date of registration is same of 2003 so why will council not accept that ???? Only because it is re issued …these days birth certificate are issued or made online unlike previous days where it was a offline process so the details has to be like that only …and who told u that council needs the same birth certificate as the one submitted in cl 1 or initial admission days ??? Any one who could guide
hr582 hello. My school submitted to the Council an attested copy of my original birth certificate which was submitted at the time of initial admission there. If your school attests your updated certificate, the Council should accept it. Please contact your school about this. I can only speak from personal experience. But they must have done many corrections, so can guide much better, as to your particular case.

Samarth get an updated one go and apply in ur local municipal office or from wherever u got it … Explain them that u have lost it and u need a new one they will fetch u a new one bases on ur previous record and the new one will have qr code because these days it has been made mandatory this will help u and the office of icse to verify ur docs

AmlanNaskar I want to know that there was a spelling mistake in my fathers name it was written DHERENDRA SINGH but it was correct is DHIRENDRA should it was ok or I have to correct it for my future
