Pragati_singh The earlier statement was a general rule for state boards and CBSE, but in the case of ICSE, since duplicate certificates are not issued, the Certifying Statement of Examination Result is accepted as valid.
As clearly mentioned in the ICSE Board FAQ (Question 03 under Related to ICSE – Class X on the CISCE official website), a duplicate certificate will not be issued if the original is lost or misplaced; only a Certifying Statement of Examination Result can be obtained. Hence, it is evident that this document is readily accepted.
