The University of Delhi extended the last date of registration by two days through an official announcement. “In the larger interest of the candidates who are still in the process of deciding thier preferences, the University has extended the last date of Phase I and Phase II by two days, Phase and Phase II of CSAS will now be open for candidates till 12 october 5 PM.” As per the official press statement.

Students can make corrections in thier application for phase I and II till 5 pm of 12 october 2022 (Wednesday).

On October 11, Delhi University (DU) constituted a nine-member committee to resolve the issues related to seat allocation and admission in Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. “The committee will work to continue the admission process smoothly in the leadership of Prof. Ranjit Bohra” Registrar Vikas Gupta stated.

The test for sports quota for Delhi University’s admission process for the session 2022-23 will begin from this week. For admission under ECA and Sports Quota, 25% weightage will be given to Common Entrance Test (CUET) marks, 75% weightage for certificate and test.

As per the reports, the University of Delhi is likely to release the first CSAS (common seat allocation system) allocation list on 18 October 2022 and October 19 to 21 will be give to students to accept the allocated seats.

The Second list expected to release on October 30 and students have to “accept” the allocated seats by November 1, 2022.

Delhi University announced to release the DU simulated list today, October 14, 2022. As per the official notification, the list will be released on the official website at 5 pm.
In the official notification, DU further mentioned that the preference change window will also open on 14 october and will close on 16 october 2022.

B.Com seems to be most sought course among students - Delhi University

As of October 13, the college preference data showed B.Com, the most registrations received course by Ramjas College with 56,996 applications.

In comparison to 2021, Delhi University has received fewer than two lakh applications for UG courses for the academic session 2022-23. Speaking about the declining number, the former Executive Council member of Du Rajesh Jha said, “ The manner in which the entire admission process has been conducted this year has been ridden with uncertainty.”

On Thursday October 29, According to the official report by PTI, Nearly 61,000 candidates already accepted their college and course via Seat allocation system by DU. As the seat acceptance data increasing, it is expected that all 70,000 seats will be filled in the first list itself.

    Ramjas College with Political Science (H) course, one of the most sought after course, the highest CUET score is 786.47 whereas the lowest is 781.98.

According to the widely spread data by some reputed newspapers, Hansraj College of DU has 13 vacant seats for B.Sc (H) zoology while Hindu college have 8 vacant seats.
      Similarly, at Kirori Mal College, 14 seats remain vacant for B.Sc (H) physics while at Ramjas College there are 12 vacant seats each for B.Sc (H) chemistry and B.Sc (H) life sciences.
