Phase 2 of undergraduate admissions for the academic session 2022-23 at Delhi university will kick off today i.ee 26th Sep 2022.
While phase one of the CSAS started on September 12, the registrations under both phases will go on till October 10, the university has announced.
We are able to choose preferred colleges and programs online, using the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.
But the question is, are they going to give the cut-off list first?
The CSAS portal will automatically draw students’ scores in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and assign colleges and programs on the basis of the candidate’s normalized scores and preferences.
DU has said it will consider the subject-based normalised CUET scores for admission to UG Programmes
What if I want to change my college and program preferences? Can I do that?
Today I read newspaper where there is a news regarding two day window where DU Registrar Vikas Gupta said a two day window will be provided to the candidates to reorder their programme and College preferences.
So according to the news we will get the chance to change the preference but I think it will be best if you select best for you Initially. As there will be a lot’s of students who were using the site that time, What if there will be server issue?

The University of Delhi extended the last date of registration by two days through an official announcement. “In the larger interest of the candidates who are still in the process of deciding thier preferences, the University has extended the last date of Phase I and Phase II by two days, Phase and Phase II of CSAS will now be open for candidates till 12 october 5 PM.” As per the official press statement.
Students can make corrections in thier application for phase I and II till 5 pm of 12 october 2022 (Wednesday).
On October 11, Delhi University (DU) constituted a nine-member committee to resolve the issues related to seat allocation and admission in Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. “The committee will work to continue the admission process smoothly in the leadership of Prof. Ranjit Bohra” Registrar Vikas Gupta stated.
The test for sports quota for Delhi University’s admission process for the session 2022-23 will begin from this week. For admission under ECA and Sports Quota, 25% weightage will be given to Common Entrance Test (CUET) marks, 75% weightage for certificate and test.
As per the reports, the University of Delhi is likely to release the first CSAS (common seat allocation system) allocation list on 18 October 2022 and October 19 to 21 will be give to students to accept the allocated seats.
The Second list expected to release on October 30 and students have to “accept” the allocated seats by November 1, 2022.
Delhi University gives relaxation to those students who are seeking admission in DU for the academic session 2022-23. University announced to again start the admission process for UG courses. Admission is likely to be restart in November in mid-sem. An official stated that, In 3rd phase of CUET admission can be taken between November 5 to 7, 2022.
Delhi University announced to release the DU simulated list today, October 14, 2022. As per the official notification, the list will be released on the official website at 5 pm.
In the official notification, DU further mentioned that the preference change window will also open on 14 october and will close on 16 october 2022.
